Self Discovery and Healing
The process of Cards was making a story through color and line work. The deconstructed and unfinished look of the piece is meant to symbolize vulnerability, and the colors represents friendship, betrayal, corruption, healing, and power. I used old English for the numbers and words to identify the age-old tale of finding oneself after great personal struggle. The meaning in the piece is supposed to be primarily found in the color usage and the light symbolism used rather than being overly flashy.
