The Book of the Rising Dawn and Falling Sun was my senior project, my undergraduate thesis if you prefer. This book was meant to combine my love of writing, storytelling, and graphic design into one. Everything within the book was designed and aligned by me.
The story centers around fantastical ideas based on Lovecraftian creatures, Gandhi, economic oppression, and the trust we have for the people we consider to be heroes.
The designs center around vector work, both through icons and drawn art. The project includes posters, portraits, a book cover, text alignments, a map, and image pages meant to separate the book into parts.
